Practical Cats, Dramatical Cats

ओउर दिरेक्टोर टोल्ड उस तो
...Hmmm, well I'm not at all sure what happened there. Apparently I was typing in Hindi. What I was trying to say is our director told us the other night at rehearsal that she wants us to start practicing our makeup. Since my character is usually played by the same actor that plays Mistoffelees, I got to make up my own design. It's not quite what I want it to be, but I'd say I'm off to a good start.
Here's a bit of Cat trivia for you: whenever you see Mistoffelees not in his light-up jacket (so in other words, the whole play except for his song), he is actually another cat named Quaxo. This musical is filled to the brim with all sorts of confusing things like this (In case a bunch of acotrs crawling around on the stage floor like cats and then shooting up some old lady into the sky on a tire wasn't confusing enough.), it's quite... uh, confusing.
Apparently there's a whole cult following as well- No, not cult following, that's too cool a term for these geeks... A nerd culture!! Yes, that's better. These people write fanfiction and make up soap opera worthy backstories for the cats in the show. I could understand if you were actually in the show and made up a backstory in an attempt to give your character more depth (we've done that in ours), but no, it's just sad people that waste there time thinking up this shit. I just want to shake thes sillies while screaming into their ears "IT'S A SHOW ABOUT A BUNCH OF CATS!!!"
